Two-Component Rendering Mortar
Two-component Bonding & Rendering Mortar is a composite material specifically engineered for insulation systems, combining polymer-modified emulsion (liquid) and cement-based dry mix (powder). It delivers dual functionality: bonding insulation boards and forming crack-resistant protective layers. The synergy between flexible polymer matrices and rigid inorganic frameworks provides ≥0.15MPa bond strength, ≥3J impact resistance, and Class P crack resistance (crack width ≤0.1mm).

Material Composition

Component Core Materials Technical Function
Part A Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate Copolymer (52±2% solids) Low-temperature film formation
Part B 42.5 Sulphoaluminate cement + 80-mesh quartz sand Rapid hardening & crack resistance
*Mix ratio: A:B=1:3 (by weight), workable time 60min*

Performance (ETAG 004 Class III)

Application Protocol

  1. Bonding Application

    • Perimeter & dot method: ≥60% coverage (EPS)

    • Notch trowel: 8mm depth (XPS requires priming)

  2. Rendering Application

    • Base coat: 3mm thick embedding alkali-resistant mesh (≥160g/㎡)

    • Finish coat: Total 5±0.5mm, trowel smooth before final set

  3. Environmental Limits

    • Ambient temp: 5℃~35℃ (use frost-resistant type below 5℃)

    • Curing: Mist-spray water for ≥3 days after setting

Restrictions

  • Not for direct application on PU foam (requires primer)

  • Cannot tile with water absorption >6% ceramics
